Twin Brooks Golf Course - Cape Cod, Massachusetts
If you enjoy walking a course, Twin Brooks Golf Course located on Cape Cod is the course for you.
Designed in the mid-sixties by Geoffrey Comish, Twin Brooks is considered by many to be the most walkable course on
the Cape. In fact, even during the busy part of the season an entire round of golf can be easily completed in 2
½ hours. However, just because you do not need a cart to trek from one side to the other does not mean this
course is easy by any means.
When it was designed Golf Digest named it the most challenging par 3 on Cape Cod. To this day, many seasoned golfers
will agree with this rating. What makes some of the shots so tricky? One reason is the water hazards. Although the
entire length of the course is only 2,621 yards there are five water holes that affect eight tee shots. In addition to
the water hazards there are many sand traps, strategically placed bunkers, tree lined fairways and elevated greens.
Most courses only play host to one of these traits. Twin Brooks however boasts all of them resulting
in a challenging, albeit relatively short course.
Although this course may have the casual atmosphere of a regular public course it has all the amenities offered by a
private club. Being located on the grounds of the Four Points by Sheraton Hyannis Resort, many luxuries just come
standard, luxuries you would not find at other area courses. These include such things as over 250 guest rooms on
site and facilities to host up to 300 people.
For the non-golfers in your group Twin Brooks in conjunction with the attached resort has the
Vista del Mar Spa which offers massages, facials and body treatments ensuring that you are completely relaxed at the
end of your vacation. If you like to eat, Sheraton Hyannis Resort has three restaurants with something to be enjoyed
by even the pickiest eaters.
With this combination of great golf and modern amenities there really is no reason not to make
Twin Brooks Golf Course the destination of your next Massachusetts golf vacation.
